Delete Your Account

You can delete your Cal Friend account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. This page explains how, and what happens next.
Delete in the app
Open Cal Friend and go to Profile, then Danger zone, then Delete account. You can also start from Support, then Delete account.
Type the word shown on the screen to confirm, then select Delete permanently.
We sign you out on every device and send a confirmation email to the address on your account.
Delete without the app
If you no longer have the app, email privacy@calfriend.ai from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. If you signed in with a phone number or a private Apple relay address, tell us how you signed in.
We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete anything. We complete requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your profile and goals, meal, activity and weight logs, photos and other files, messages, group memberships, share links, purchase records, sign-in methods and devices.
Files stored with Cloudflare R2 are deleted together with your account.
What is kept
Copies in backups are removed when those backups expire. We may keep limited records when the law requires it.
Apple keeps its own records of your purchases.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. To avoid another charge, cancel it first in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions.
Sign in with Apple
If you used Sign in with Apple, you can also stop using your Apple Account with Cal Friend in Settings, then your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple. When Apple tells us, we sign you out.
Download your data first
Deletion cannot be undone. To keep a copy, go to Profile, then Privacy and data, or to Support, then Download your data, before you delete your account.
