Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy explains how the calfriend.ai website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way. They help a site remember your choices and understand how it is used.
Strictly necessary storage
We save your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage, so we do not ask again on every visit.
The Cal Friend web app also uses local storage to keep you signed in and to remember settings such as your language. This storage is needed for the site to work and does not require consent.
Analytics cookies
If you select Accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages they view and for how long. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_8RJDDLBV50, which last up to 2 years. We remove personal details from page addresses before they are sent.
Until you accept, and if you reject, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode. It does not set or read cookies and sends only basic signals without identifiers, such as that a page was loaded.
Google explains how it uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
No advertising cookies
We do not use advertising cookies or cookies that track you across websites.
Your choice
On your first visit, we ask whether to allow analytics cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.
You can change your choice at any time with the button on this page, or by clearing cookies and site data in your browser settings.
The app
The Privacy Policy explains how the Cal Friend app for iPhone measures usage.
