Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 8, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use Cal Friend, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility of the calfriend.ai website and the Cal Friend app.
Our commitment
We work to make the website meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Act, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
What we have done
Pages have a clear structure with headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them.
Everything works with a keyboard, and the Escape key closes the menu.
Text colours are chosen for readable contrast, and the layout still works when you zoom in.
Animations stop when you turn on reduced motion in your device settings, and pause when they are off screen.
Meaningful images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
The page language and reading direction are set for each language version, and the layout adapts to phones, tablets and computers.
Known limitations
Some illustrations of app screens are decorative and are hidden from screen readers. The same information appears in the page text.
The feature carousel moves on its own. It stops when you point at it and when reduced motion is turned on.
The website, the blog and the legal pages are available in 13 languages, and the language button at the top of the page switches between them. In the app, legal pages follow your app language.
Pages run by others, such as the App Store, are outside our control.
The app
In the app, we label controls for VoiceOver, support right-to-left languages and keep improving accessibility with each release.
Report a problem
If you find an accessibility problem or need information in another format, email support@calfriend.ai with the page address and a short description. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
Date of this statement
